I am a laymen with no formal education in religion above what is given to us in the scriptures. I attend a Methodist church and find Wesleyan theology to be very beautiful. The Lord has blessed me with no less than life itself and it is my hope and prayer that each day as I wake I will be filled with the Holy Spirit, consumed by Christ, and love God with all my heart. As I go through each day I will strive to love others as I love myself. I have found all this is very hard as I am selfish, sinful, and in general very fallen. My only hope, our only hope, lies in all things being possible through Christ who strengthens me and his grace being sufficient.
